Quality of Care

Health care has evolved from its once state to what we see today. This has happened through the adaption of new technology, procedures, and countless other variables. One of the most important aspects that has been implemented into the core framework of how health care is ran, is the quality of care. This is such an essential aspect, because the patient should not just be a number. They are human beings that are coming to health care facilities, or at home in their time of need, hoping for the best care possible. This is done most of the time as quality of care has risen in health care facilities over the past 20 years. Although quality has risen for the most part, one branch of health care that it is lacking in is elderly care. The lack of quality care in health care is a rising health care issue, and can be considered a barrier into the New Year. There have been many studies of the neglect, abuse, and improper treatments that have gone on in these facilities. For example in one study that surveyed 2,000 elderly patients, 95% of them felt neglected or abused during their health care experience. This is an alarming number, and should not be taken lightly. This percentage could be due to the lack of care, but can be mostly connected to the lack of training in this specialty, and the lack of health care professionals in elderly care. It is a sad sight to see that the elderly community of this nation, is being neglected in their time of need. Although this is an issue, Home For Me is proud of the exceptional care that they serve to this neglected community. Our mission statement is focused around “Putting Care back into Home Care”, and quality is at the heart of this. The operations are done in a manner that goes above and beyond. Not only is the best quality of care delivered, but a health care professional to patient relationship is being made in the process. This allows for the patient to trust us and feel comfortable with our professionals tending to their medical needs. From start to finish, the services and experiences delivered by Home For Me is rooted with the right heart, and best intentions.
